Trevor Dandy

Trevor Dandy’s “Is There Any Love” has an all-inclusive feel that's more tender and secular than the rest of his gospel album, Don't Cry For Me Tree—though he ventures down the religious path a little further elsewhere on LP. The West Indian Dandy reached out to the tiny Toronto custom outfit Zaza Productions to write, record, and produce an album to be sold to members of his congregation. Though it is unclear how many copies of the record actually sold, 2000 were pressed, most of which were destroyed after Dandy had a falling out with the church.
