Taken from an acetate turned up by Jamie Hodge, “I’ll Get You Back” is a previously unissued recording produced by William Sandy Johnson and Nate Taylor. Intended for release on Johnson’s Sincere label, alongside LaShawn Collins and Wendy Woods, the side was shelved for nearly 40 years. On the reverse is “Two Years, Four Days,” an unreleased Twinight cut that found its initial release on Eccentric Soul: The Twinight Label.
