Rex

A stark departure from their grunge-inspired C, Rex’s 1995 single “All” is melancholy folk at a crawling pace. An assemblage of string instruments drones beneath Curtis Harvey’s gossamer vocals, a drum beat that’s nearly-not-there the backbone of the track. The more experimental B-side “Nayramadin Orgil” bends to the whim of a meandering string melody.
