Primitive synthesizer soul from Chicago’s south side! Organist Tony Dyson built his “company” around the rhythm section of bassist Curly Ford and drummer Ron Anderson, with Cotillion’s Sylvester Island lending a guitar stab or two. Recorded by The Staples Singers engineer Don Greer, Dyson’s Co. issued their lone 45 “It’s All Over” b/w “First Time” on Greer’s New Outlook imprint in 1980. Outsider future funk for the after-after party.
