Hey Lady b/w Just To Be With You

Brilliant mid-tempo harmony soul from our favorite state: Ohio. The Elements cut three 45s for Chuck Brown’s Saru concern in 1971, all produced by the O’Jays’ Bobby Massey. “Hey Lady” zips along, carried by Mark Anthony’s crystal-clear falsetto, while the flip “Just To Be With You” features the full range of baritone Ronald Sims, second tenor Bud Barnes, and alto Enos Scott. Issued in conjunction with Japan’s Disk Union, this pic-sleeve 45 is limited to 500 copies worldwide, and just 100 of those are available at the Numero site only. A Cleveland soul masterpiece, now at an affordable price.
